The PM&D Foundation · For teenagers

Not another lecture. A goal you choose. A group that expects something from you.

The Foundation is an eight-week small-group mentorship experience for boys aged 14–16 who want to improve something real in their lives—and are willing to take action on it.

Why Josh built it

I know what it is like to feel as though you are wasting your own potential.

From roughly 11 to 19, Josh was overweight for much of puberty, heavily addicted to computer games and without much motivation or direction. He could see that time was passing, but he did not yet have the knowledge, structure or guidance to change where he was heading.

He eventually transformed himself through years of learning about training, nutrition, health, discipline and personal development. PM&D exists to give teenage boys some of the guidance he wishes he had received earlier—not to turn them into copies of him.

What you actually do

You choose the challenge. The programme gives you the structure.

01

Choose

Pick one thing you genuinely want to improve. It could involve fitness, focus, routine, confidence, a skill or another meaningful goal.

02

Build

Turn that goal into a realistic weekly system instead of relying on motivation whenever it appears.

03

Act

Complete practical challenges between sessions and report honestly on what happened.

04

Adapt

When something fails, work out why and make the next attempt better instead of pretending it went perfectly.

The group

Three to five boys. Shared standards. No hiding at the back.

You will hear how other boys handle goals, setbacks and responsibility. You will be expected to contribute, listen and treat the group properly.

Speak honestlyNo need to pretend everything is going well.
Respect privacyOther people’s personal information does not leave the group.
Take responsibilityOwn what you did, what you avoided and what you will do next.
Help raise the standardYour effort affects the quality of the group for everyone.

What your parent sees

Evidence, not every detail.

Your parent will know whether you are participating and will receive agreed progress updates. They will not receive a transcript of everything you say.

If Josh believes someone may be at serious risk, normal privacy boundaries change. That will be explained before you join.

What this is not

It is not punishment, therapy or school.

You do not have to arrive as the most confident, disciplined or motivated person in the room. You do have to understand what you are joining and agree to take part.
